Iron River School and Bug Crazy
I want to thank all the staff involved in having me come to Iron River School and read my book, Bug Crazy to the kids on Wednesday! It was a really great time. The kids asked some very good questions, made some funny, and wonderful comments. I truly enjoy what I do. If it was not for libraries, schools, publishers, and book stores...I would not be able to do this. From the bottom of my heart, I respect and appreciate all the support I get. Cannot wait to do this again and again!

Poem for kids 3: Mud is up to My Nose
I jump into a puddle
Mud is up to my nose
I push my feet in deeper while wiggling my toes
Mom says not to get so dirty
But it's already to late
I have goop and grime all over me
And it's feeling great!

Dreaming When You Wake
Don't stop dreaming when you wake
Open your eyes to the surreal story around you
Take a deep breath and walk through the rainbow of forest
Jump into the inky blue ocean of your soul
Swim and bask in the sun of your imagination
Allow it to take flight and carry you to the depths of your subconscious
Don't stop dreaming when you wake
Expect the journey to start in the warmth of your home
Let it take root and spread it's feathery wings out to the corners of the world
The words will spill out of you onto the page
Giving life to the lifeless tree so that it may never be in vain.
